Too many fans seem to be blown away

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

great acting performance by Herman Wilkins,this film is wonderful, cinematic, creative, 10 out of 10 stars,I watched this film as it was submission to the big house Los Angeles black film festival, out of over a thousand submissions to the festival Hogtown was hands down the best I had seen, the stylized cinematography, the lighting, editing and amazing performances were captivating.as a reviewer, one of many from the festival authority for Big House Los Angeles, we all agreed this is an amazing must see film,Mr Wilkins performance is superb. great film.
