Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The story follows Aarush, (Akshay Kumar), a 'panauti' (an unlucky person), who works in bar and gets money as people lose games of poker. After being rejected from getting married by a girl he goes to London to stay for some time with his best friend, Bob (Riteish Deshmukh) and his wife, Hetal (Lara Dutta), both working at a casino owned by Kishore Samtani (Randhir Kapoor). Although at first Hetal is displeased with Aarush's presence, he proves to be a kind-hearted man looking for a family. Bob and Hetal decide to get him married to their boss' daughter, Devika Samtani (Jiah Khan). After the marriage, on their honeymoon in Italy, Devika leaves him for her longtime American boyfriend Benny. Aarush decides to commit suicide by drowning in the sea but is saved by a Telugu girl, Sandy (Deepika Padukone), who he kisses when she tries to make him breathe.Sandy originally thinks Aarush is a pervert but when Aakhri Pasta (Chunkey Pandey), the owner of Italy's "biggest" hotel where Aarush was spending his honeymoon with Devika, tells Sandy that Aarush is a widower, she befriends him and slowly falls in love with him. What she doesn't know is that Aakhri Pasta was only joking. She then finds out his wife is alive and leaves him, but later when Aarush manages to clear the confusion, she accepts him.The only way Aarush and Sandy can get married is by convincing her elder brother, Major Krishna Rao (Arjun Rampal), a strict Indian Military Intelligence officer who loves his sister and is over-protective of her. Meanwhile, Hetal lies to her father, Batuk Patel (Boman Irani), that Bob owns a mansion and they have a child. On the other hand, Sandy tells her brother that Aarush is quite well to do too. The four are then forced to rent a mansion to make Hetal's dad believe that Bob owns it. Confusion prevails and somehow Batuk accidentally believes that Aarush is married to Hetal, and Bob is the cook. Then, Krishna turns up earlier than expected, much to Aarush's horror, leading to more lies and the two couples making him believe that Aarush owns the mansion.

Sajid Khan after HEYY BABYY which looked like a poor 70's style film returns with HOUSEFULL which too worked at the B.O. Surprisingly I don't know What people like in this film?The film from start to end gives an impression of being written by some Idiot and for some reason Sajid Khan has got such a big fat ego after the success of such nonsense films he also has planned a sequel.The story is nothing new, Akki's character of a seedha saadha innocent guy is something done to death on big screen and it fails to impress Even though Akki's other repetitive roles in Priyan films are getting boring yet in comparison they seem betterThe film has such nonsense comic scenes that make you cringe, like the shock scene, tiger scene Even the Chunky Pandey track which is funny in scene or two gets boring The romantic track is terrible Boman Irani character too is a caricatured while all the chaos seem so repetitive Arjun's character is like Arbaaz's role in PKTDK(1998) and makes it seem classic in comparison The climax with all laughing and falling off including London Queen is also an example of Mockery and also include Santa and BantaDirection by Sajid Khan is terrible Music is decent, APNE TO JAISE TAISE copied from old classic isn't a match to the old one yet is okay though Mika is no KK and Akshay,Arjun, Ritiesh can never be Big B Akshay Kumar plays the same seedha guy from JAANEMAN and later in ACTION REPLAY, he is restrained compared to his other films but sadly getting typecast and boring now. Ritiesh too needs to get off from comic roles and he is getting repetitive, though his timing/expressions are getting better now but he should stop such stupid roles Boman Irani is again typecast and needs to stop doing such stuff Amongst roles Lara Dutta and Deepika scream, screech and howl and are both terrible with their winy voices Jiah Khan makes a small appearance Arjun Rampal is better of the lot and suits his part before going overboard in climax scene Randhir Kapoor is wasted

Why am I disappointed? The film is made by the same person who had a television series in which he made fun of people like Mahesh Bhatt and Anu Malik for stealing there ideas and music from American movies and musicians.The same person (Sajid Khan) copied his first movie "Heyy Babyy" from "3 Men and a Baby" and now his new movie "House full" is a complete rip-off of "Meet the Parents" and "The Heartbreak Kid" both coincidentally star Ben Stiller in the lead.This proves that he (Sajid Khan) is the biggest hypocrite in the entire Indian film industry, he was not even able to copy the movie properly, I don't know how much they are paying the critics to give it a positive rating.Don't even watch this movie if you are paid by Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, don't watch it for free, don't watch it or you will regret it.

Well i watched houseful and thank god i did not watch in in theater! Please do not waste time to watch this movie,only watch it if you really need to watch a comedy movie and don't have any better movies to watch! Akshay kumar was pretty good in the acting,so wasarjun rampal,but main acting was done by Boman Irani! The Story is nothing new,old relationship problems,confusion and same old crappy portrayal.Akshay Kumar should try something new,or refreshing comedy like Hera Phiri or Dhamaal type of movies! All the actress are there to add glamor.The movie started well, and the "Panauti" song perfectly matched up with it.Thats why i am giving it 5,else i would have given 2-3.Keep your brains outside when you watch it!One more thing this movie has a horrible ending.That ruins the movie more.!BAD LUCK CHARM..oh yeah Akshay Kumar is real bad luck charm for bollywood!
