I Want Your Money Trailers

Two versions of the American dream now stand in sharp contrast. One views the money you earned as yours and best allocated by you; the other believes that an elite in Washington knows best how to allocate your wealth. One champions the traditional American dream, which has played out millions of times through generations of Americans, of improving one's lot in life and even daring to dream and build big. The other holds that there is no end to the "good" the government can do by taking and spending other peoples' money in an ever-burgeoning list of programs. The documentary film I Want Your Money exposes the high cost in lost freedom and in lost opportunity to support a Leviathan-like bureaucratic state.

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

This is pure propaganda and not the entertaining kind either. As in all propaganda the statements that are presented as fact are half truths. The fact that Nixon, Regan and G. W. Bush's administrations were responsible for the biggest budget deficits in history was not even mentioned. This is pure fascist propaganda brought to you by the same people that have been pushing religion and any other mid evil practices they can come up with. There is no question that a small amount of money and time was spent on this project. If the premise was really fair and unbalanced then it could have been a good piece instead it is heavily biased and while the bias is subtle at first it becomes evident as the film wears on.

Under Clinton, our debt clock was covered with an American flag, and under Bush, that very same clock had to be removed in order to replace it with one that had more zeroes. Enough said. Those who love this movie simply want their existing opinion reaffirmed by those on the screen.Oh, and the 'Tea Party'. It's a joke. It started as a protest of a Democrat in the White House (with racist signs sprinkled in the crowd). The press talked about the deficit and this lunatic fringe started complaining about that, pointing it's finger at the Democrat in the White House. But, oops, the members then learned the deficit falls squarely on the shoulders of President Bush -- a Republican! What's an angry person to do?! Putting on the appearance of distancing yourself from the GOP, while still being very much Republican! Too funny.

Very simple message backed up with facts and speeches from Democrats and Republicans...I do feel that you can't tax your way to prosperity..it has to come from tax relief to the business sector...Democrats don't realize that and so they continue with stimulus packages. I did like the 9.5 million going to finding Aliens from out of space...and they can't close off the borders to aliens coming through Mexico into America. This is insane government at it's best. When you leave you will know both sides of the political street...Nov 2 is an important date that will decide the course of America into the future...as Obama said, That is what elections are for..

I give it eight out of ten.I Want Your Money works for at least three audiences: --Conservatives will have a blast enjoying Reagan, McCotter, Gingrich and the rest serving up a healthy dose of common sense. --Independents will benefit from having a conservative layout of the current crisis, in stark opposition to the output of the Propaganda media. --Liberals may, if they've any consciousness, benefit from having the abject failure of the Progressive Utopia presented in this manner. There is always going to be room for attacking a 90 minute flick for oversimplifying matters. Also, the 'politizoid' segments were entertaining, and will hold the general audience, but the Forgotten Man installment got too lost in being entertaining to drive the point home well. Or I was just getting tired by then. The boxing finale was fun, but didn't add much to the documentary as such. The chief criticism I have of the project is that my personal favorite zombie, the Federal Reserve, didn't receive the stream of shotgun shells necessary to reduce it to a former zombie. In other words, cutting taxes is like cutting the tops off of dandelions; the reform we require is about killing the roots, and this film doesn't broach that. Really, my criticism is meant as an excuse to give Griggs a budget for a sequel.
