Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

Really complicated. It was good but somehow felt that it went like by the book, but still without logic. Maybe better for ladies then. I enjoyed the film for the first about 90 minutes. I should have went to sleep by then, like my wife did. It's recommended movie if you stop around 30mins before it ends.

Cast, story, performances, SETS - all reasons to watch. Huge Nancy Meyers fan and this doesn't disappoint. It's smart and stylish and I lock it in every time I find it on TV. Eagerly await her next film. Dunno why they enforce a length for reviews, but I've said what I wanted to say. If you're a fan of romcoms and you like architecture/interior design, Nancy Meyers has gotta be on your radar.

one of the films seductive for its lead actors. and for the story who is the comfortable armor for theirs performances. a comedy , not great but more than nice, interesting because it seems be a well known story, provocative because it is an artistic duel between great actors and surprising because Meryl Streep has not chance to be the same and Alec Baldwin has the perfect partner for a great show. a film about past, love, friendship and family. nothing original. at the first sigh. but adorable.for art and humor and the fine irony.

I had heard about this film on its release but didn't check it out until it came on TV one early evening, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Meryl is delightfully funny, Alec Baldwin smolders, and Steve Martin is adorable as the underdog. Its a warm gentle movie, and although I found it hard to believe how the characters were functioning salary wise it made for very good entertainment. For a romantic comedy it is definitely one of the better ones, and the opening scene is breathtaking. It's nice to see older relationships under the spotlight, and to see the over 40s being sexy and fun, showing its not all about the young nubile ones in the world. The funniest scene is the laptop scene it had me howling with laughter, it was very well done. I wish that they had used the little kid Pablo more, but otherwise a very enjoyable film.
