terrible... so disappointed.
The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
View MoreThe movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

View MoreJACKIE CHAN: MY STORY is a nice little straight-to-video documentary exploring the life in film of the world's number one martial artist. Sure, it's dated and cheesy in places, but it's also fast-paced and cheerful and features plenty of interview clips with the man himself. As expected, this documentary is padded out with various fight scenes from Jackie's movies dating between the 1970s and the 1990s. More interestingly, it has brief interview snippets - often culled from behind-the-scenes footage or red carpet news footage - with various celebrities chatting about the great man. There's little to dislike about this enjoyable effort overall.
