Jun-Ka-Por: The Crying Tree Trailers

In a quiet, secluded and idyllic countryside resort, every time the plaintive words of the song "The Crying Tree" are heard, a wave of fear ripples through the guests. When the music stops, they know another one among them will have been gruesomely murdered. What was once a paradise, is turning into a hell on Earth. But how can they stop these vicious attacks and who is responsible... a vengeful spirit or one of them?

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

"The Crying Tree" (aka "Jun-Ka-Por") is as far from scary as it could be, and as such then it is a very dull and pointless horror movie. In fact, the storyline and acting didn't really help lift up the movie in any sense either. The story, in all it's simplicity, is about a holiday resort that is seeing brutal murders at nighttime. It is a homicidal maniac or a vengeful spirit? The music in the movie was so out of tune with the mood of the movie, and it just seemed like music that was grabbed from other random movies. There were no coherent overall similarity to the music. As for the acting, well lets just call it forced and wooden at best. And the acting talents didn't have much of a plausible plot or storyline to work with.I have never seen as many scenes with crazy eye stares as there was in "The Crying Tree". It was just ridiculous. For a Thai horror movie, then "The Crying Tree" is definitely amongst the lowest ranking of the list, and it is one of the most boring Thai movies I have ever seen. Well, or at least try to see, because I gave up halfway through this awful ordeal.
