That was an excellent one.

an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

True, this certainly isn't a great movie. But if I look at all the 1 star reviews, those are also an exaggeration. This movie is worth 5 starts (if you're into westerns). I wouldn't pay to see this in a cinema. But for a rainy Thursday evening, with nothing better to do, it's entertaining enough.

Seven minutes into the film I knew the whole plot. Preacher gets killed by the bad guys who run the town while writing a letter to his brother. We then see a US Marshal riding into town. IT'S HIS BROTHER! Wow! Didn't see that coming or the school teacher he meets. Okay what I really didn't see coming was that the Marshal had the letter that got burned up in the fire the night his brother died. Toss in a phrase like Quantrill Raiders and a mayor who wears a top hat, has a cane, and walks around like Silas Barnaby and you have a pretty cliché filled tale. Some of the dialogue I liked, but it was far from carrying the film.No swearing sex or nudity.

I kept asking myself, "Is this a comedy?" No, a comedy would be more entertaining. I had to conclude this was not an attempt at parody. I am thinking that the people responsible for this unbelievably ridiculous, half-baked insult to the cinematic arts were actually serious. I'm sure they were junior high school students with a lot of money. The characters are thin, stereotypical shadows of archetypal heroes and villains and damsels in distress. The sophomoric story and never developed plot will leave you embarrassed for the poor souls whose names appear in the credits. The scenery was pretty good, though.

This is a movie for woman who want to watch a white knight save the day in the most unrealistic ways. It's a soap opera where all men are SIMPS put on earth to save woman and SLW, so be warned men. This show could start fights with couples, it is so bad. The movie is just badly made and acted, but that aside, it is a negative movie for men and only speaks to the female your stupid enough to watch it with. In addition, expect BLM propaganda too, if you can believe it.
