I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

it's funny to see that this post soviet film looks like an European production, and more precisely close to a french movie: the graphic (and useless) nude scene, the long silent scene with characters thinking over, the maid condition and the master country house, cheating, murders and police investigation... In a way, with this kind of movie, if you have watched one then you have watched all of them. Except than here, the Russian countryside looks nothing like the french one and for sure, this new actress for me is really exceptional: faraway of faked, brand, make-up, bragging actresses, Ingeborga has a personal humility and quiet personality that makes her really engaging and leaves us with among the best portrayal of a doomed lover ever! Not bad for this little movie!
