good back-story, and good acting
Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
View MoreFun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
View MoreThis film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
View MoreI should pay attention to imdb ranking. The movie was messy.
View MoreSome people wrote that one cannot expect "Hard Target"- like quality from an aged van Damme. Well, I agree that it's difficult to work with a small budget. A small budget film won't look like a Marvel production, period. Why don't the people involved focus on fight choreography instead? I don't get it. JCVD's age shouldn't matter. Fighting is where the film crew could score points but they don't. It seems like very few people in Hollywood actually get what a beautiful fight could look like. In the words of America's orange clown: SAD! Please watch some old Jackie Chan movies and make fighting visually entertaining again. Nobody cares about a story in a B-Movie. Not really, anyway. We, the old fans of JCVD, just wanna see him perform martial arts. That's it!
View MoreAfter a massive shootout, a mysterious stranger (Van Damme) arrives at a local hospital on the brink of death. Then, a foreign gang brazenly comes to the hospital to hunt him down. His nurse, the sole surviving witness to the follow-up shootout, must face an FBI interrogation that unlocks a plot of international intrigue and revenge. With enough twists and turns, KILL'EM ALL will keep you guessing until the final bullet is fired. The only reason why i wanted to see this film so badly was because i'm a huge fan of Jean Claude Van Damme but not even he can save this film from the horrible script that it has and it's basically Die Hard in Hospital, the acting is so-so, the fight sequences and some of the action stuff were fine but Van Damme seems to be tired out of his mind and the movie is so slow that i actually felt asleep. It's not just a bad action film but it's also one of Van Damme's most boring films and even the Cast is wasted in here especially Peter Stormara. (3/10)
View MoreThe film is a flashback from the memory of Suzanne (Autumn Reeser) an LA hospital nurse (filmed in Biloxi). She tells a story about how Philip (Jean-Claude Van Damme) saved her life and killed a bunch of people. We later discover he was after the Serbian Minister, a war criminal. The film includes his son Kris Van Damme as a bad guy Dusan who can kick his foot above his head as can bad girl Almira (bikini model Mila Kaladjurdjevic). The film is fairly straight forward until the last ten minutes where we get the twist which made the film worth a view for JCVD fans.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
