Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

My review is biased since my grandfather was the real life pilot of the Last Flight Out. It's a good made for TV movie with some modification as Hollywood does to most stories. They changed the roles that the crew played and from the stories that I've heard from my grandfather, some of the actions taken by the co-pilot were actually his actions. I've heard the real story as told to me by Captain Bob Berg himself. I've met some of the other flight crew in person so this movie holds special significance to me and my family. If you'd like to get an idea of what happened in Saigon right before it fell to communist forces of the north this movie depicts a small portion of that.All-in-all an OK story with a reasonable depiction of what happened.
