if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
View MoreThe plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
View MoreThis is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
View MoreThe storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
View MoreThis is a strange movie. It's set in post-communist Poland, a country of some very, very rich and many more equally poor people. A country where, like in the rest of Eastern Europe only close connections with organized crime could account for amazing wealth of some individuals. And of course none of this would happen if the corrupt officials of the police and government weren't doing their share of dirty misdeeds. "Last mission" is not your average run of the mill thriller. The hero of the movie is a terminally ill contract killer who wants to tie up some loose ends in his private life. There are lots of characters in this movie and sometimes is not easy to keep track who is who, but in spite of small details like that this is an honest attempt to give a slice of life in the new Eastern Europe.
View MoreThis is a movie that surprises. A few good movies were made in Poland, however this one is clearly in a class of its own - it can challenge world's best. In some aspects similar to the Day of Jackal, but it has its own strong story, which keeps you guessing to the very end. Peter J. Lucas and Janusz Gajos give strong performances. The quality of English subtitles is excellent and so is the quality of the DVD picture.
