Let's be realistic.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

Based on the Malaysian film industry, which are back warding, I think this is a quite good film.This film used folks story character (Badang, Pak Pandir,Mak Andeh,Bunian, Nenek Kebayan, Belalang & etc.) which are very close to audience.That makes this movie quite fun and enjoyable. All the little CGIapproach used in this film also helping in the storytelling (Althoughthe CGI quality not so good excepts for the morphing dragon). For Edry Abdul Halim debuts this is a good starts and hopefully more young director should follow his footsteps.In my opinion this genre of film (fantasy and musical) should be expanded in the Malaysia films industry.
