Not even bad in a good way

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

When I saw this movie 3 years ago I was surprised at how awful it really was. I mean why the hell would you make this movie into a musical when none of the actors in it can sing? I thought this movie would be about Lisa Kudrow trying to act black, which would have been funny since she is the whitest girl I have ever seen, but the director decided not to go that route, like the title entails, and decided to make it into a romance musical which had a total of ONE funny moment. When Wayne's character starts singing "I wanna love you IN THE BUTT, IN THE BUTT, IN THE BUTT!!!" and all the backup singers had red targets painted on their rear ends. Thats about the only funny part of the movie, and you only laugh for a few seconds. Anyone who rated this movie a 10 either is a HUGE Waynes brother fan, or they love the smooth, sensual voice of Lisa Kudrow when she sings (FUBAR!)

I read the comments before watching the movie, and just like with the "famous critics" who critique movies, that was the wrong move. I think it really depends on the mindset of the person who is watching and also it depends on the type of movie the person is looking for. So if you are looking for fun, this is a fun movie, it is not to be taken in all seriousness, just take it for what is - just plain fun. I can't complain about the language, because although I don't like rap for all of the disrespectful language, I knew this movie would have aspects of it but it was funny in spots. Everyone should form their own opinions as everyone would find different things funny.

Who likes hip hop movies? I do! I know movies like "You Got Served," "In The Mix" and others are really good hip hop movies, but this movie is just as good! This one stars Damon Wayans, who is, of course, one of the Wayans Brothers! Y'all may know them from that show, as well as the movie "White Chicks" (a very funny story that makes you wonder, "What the...?)! If you don't like these kinds of movies, then you need a reality check! However, if you do like these kinds of movies, then nothing will happen! You'll be dancing to the movies! Dancing to the movies, baby! Dancing!Hip hop movies rock, baby!

i loved the movie it was so funny like Dr.s ha my favorite part would have to be Lisa Kudrow is rapping, it was awesome "i love you in the but" ha well ya awesome movie must see, they had awesome characters, good actors. Funny movie it will make you laugh so hard.It was awesome you have to see it. the movie doesn't really have a point but it is so funny.so watch it! because you will laugh so hard i swear to you all. I would rate this movie 11 out of 10 it was that funny and good even though their were some parts that were a little strange it all came together in their own little way. Oh yeah their is this band called boys are us and its so funny they make fun of them so much i loved watching that movie you can watch it over and over again and not get tired of it its that good. Dr.s' songs were so funny and he was wearing this huge jacket this one time and the zipper was so big it was funny. And in conclusion i would say go see this movie right now.
