Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The first season was amazing. One of the best things I've ever watched, on the level of Sopranos, Breaking Bad and all those great shows. But the second season, first episode, SHADES TOGETHER WITH THAT OLD UGLY HAG???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY???????!!!!!????? I signed off.. and I never want to watch something as disgusting like that ever again!

Though this show lacks a little more action at times, leaning too much on dramatic dialogues and boring scenes, I do wanna commend the producer Cheo Coker for bringing in Danny Rand. I've always found great the idea of putting two or more heroes together. The Defenders was awesome, bringing Danny, Jessica, Luke and Matt Murdock together. On Luke Cage's second season, I did miss the participation of any of these guys. I was hoping to see Jessica too, since they were lovers once, and became friends. But Danny was a nice surprise... I know people criticized a lot his own show, but it doesn't matter. What the public wants is action, along with friendship among the characters. So, Coker... I know you're not gonna read this, but you did a good job on this idea of reuniting Luke and Danny!P.S. My post doesn't really contain spoilers... just very mild stuff...

The acting is terrible. Dialogue cringeworthy. And the music is just god awful

I couldn't give it one star because I laughed genuinely at so many poorly written, acted, and filmed scenes. Like a soap opera gone wild. And I like Knight Hawk's title, I thought Cage's punches and moves were among the funniest parts: The actor is seemingly so very uncoordinated! Great guy I'm sure, strong as hell in real life and all that... Cripes though, were some of those "fight" scenes hokey or what?. As were Mariah's scenes (all of them, every last one). Oooh - and the music interludes... Starting to chuckle writing this. Maybe I should give it another star.
