Maya the Bee Trailers

Maya the Bee is a dramatised documentary film displaying living bees and other forest animals interacting with each other. Based on the book by Waldemar Bonsels, he also assisted himself in cinematography, along with A.O. Weitzenberg. The film was restored in 2004, after a decent copy (nitrate) of this film survived in the Finnish Film Archives possession and was done by Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv with the support of Waldemar Bonsels-Stiftung.

If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
