Mighty Mouse in Krakatoa Trailers

The superist hero of them all, Mighty Mouse, easily brushes aside molten lava and stems the tide of an island volcano, set off by the torrid dancing of Krakatoa Katy, the hottest dancer of them all. Then he carries all of the island natives to the safety of higher ground, where Katy leads them all in a jive-chanting jitterbug dance in tribute to their hero.

Disturbing yet enthralling

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

One of the most memorable episodes I've seen. Krakatoa Katy visits the island, and a huge bash is thrown for her. She dances, and the major volcano erupts. The islanders run in all directions, and Mighty Mouse saves the day by choking the volcano with the stream of the cape. He dances the final dance with Katy. (Did anyone know that he could dance too? no wonder the girls love him.) The music is catchy and will no doubt implant itself in your brain for at least a week.
