How sad is this?
The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
View MoreStrong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
View MoreThe film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
View MoreI have to admit, in the very beginning of this horror short, I though it was going to be one of those boring, "serious" type short films. But then as it went along, it turned out to be a pretty original idea, done really well. Kind of creepy.Caught this at Frightfest Glasgow 2016, and it was definitely one of the better movies this year. I liked it. It's nothing flashy or anything, but it managed to be really silent and quiet, while still being entertaining. Now, I know it's only 8 minutes or so, but still, 8 minutes can be boring. Actually last year Katie Bonham (the director) also had one of the best, if not the best, short movie of Frightfest: "the Paper Route". Well done!Someone give this woman some money and let her make a feature length!
