The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

When the strip becomes cult and legends, then the legend has to be transferred to film. And to make this film depicted the legend nearly as well as a comic book, then hire the best director for this stuff and that is Mr. Tori Jankovic. Mr. Jankovic is with so much feeling for the atmosphere, described an experience that all children and people had reading a comic book, thus transferred to the screen. A small difference is that the film needed a something else... and that something is still lacking that this film is an artistic masterpiece of its generation. So the possibility that strip provides and opens to maneuver, so Mr. Jankovic resorted to the simple and conventional presentation of events in the film. Options that could be used, they are gone forever and the time in which the film was made. Some scenes are much more severe and emotionally difficult to watch...and some unskilled and hastily made. So that the viewer is drunk by the magic of this comics.. still with this film left for a lot of things deprived.
