I enjoyed every minute of this movie, when we found out the king is still alive and snow white actually did not eat the apple.. Yeah that was an very smart and extreme turn from the original well-known fairytale... I highly recommend this movie... But that final wedding song was ughhhh so bad and silly that's the only flaw :D

I was surprised by how agile and fun this movie is, especially after reading some critics. I think I'll leave the critics in mind when deciding to watch a movie. It has fantastic moments and the cast is in full swing. Julia Roberts, who I do not always like, is perfect as an Evil Queen. Lily Collins is a good Snow White. And Armie Hammer is hilarious as Prince Alcott; he has moments of true Prince Charming and others in which I laughed a lot with him. He is a very handsome prince with a very good comic v¡iew. Nathan Lane, Mare Winningham, Sean Bean (although it is almost a cameo of the actor) and especially the dwarves are fantastic. The final dance hits me a bit, but I think it's the lack of habit of listening to this kind of music, and it does not bother me at all. I recommend his vision, no doubt.

Mirror Mirror is, as you might expect, the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs told in a radical way. The evil queen starves her people and punishes Snow White for being more beautiful than her. Until one day when Snow manages to escape, meet a handsome prince and team up with a group of seven dwarfs in her attempt to stop the queen and redeem her throne. All seems pretty classic but it sure isn't. Instead of being an animation, it's a proper, live-action movie presented in a rather unique way, let's say...a parody. A classic story presented as a parody is not something very common isn't it? Never mind, we're talking about a very funny movie, which tries to retell a fairytale in an entertaining way managing to not deviate a lot from the main story, even making it unexpected. Although it may look unpolished and made in a hurry, I must tell you, I really enjoyed it, and the fact that Julia Roberts and Lily Collins play the main roles, I think it means something. I wish you a nice watch! In my opinion it deserves it!

If you are looking for the original story, stop looking, because it isn't in this movie. This is a completely different spin on the old story and definitely not Disney's original nor the original from before Disney. It has new twists, new characters, a similar plot. It's fresh and light with humor through out. Not as dark and scary as other versions.I especially enjoyed the dwarfs, the soundtrack and the FX. I also was enthralled by Lily Collins as Snow White. Some might dislike her but I thought she did a wonderful job, no, brilliant. I also enjoyed Ms. Roberts in the role of the evil queen.7.5 stars. Maybe an 8... the kids loved the movie. OK. An 8.
