Monty Python and the Holy Grail in LEGO Trailers

Animated short, created for DVD and viral, for Python Pictures. Doubtless Spite Your Face Production's most viewed film, thanks to its place on the Holy Grail DVD, but also via countless broadcast appearances worldwide. She's also been featured on a number of magazine discs and in the days before YouTube, could be found at the very top of the charts on Yahoo Movies, iFilm, Atom Films and Veoh. Today it continues to spread of its own accord, inspiring imitators and even sequels.

A lot more amusing than I thought it would be.

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

I fully recommend this to everyone who is a python fan. This is the best! I especially love the tribute to the Dead Parrot Sketch. This is a very wonderful piece of art work done by some true Python fans. Not much more can be said except that all Python fans should see this. Not sure what else to say about this except...... GO and view this.... it is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best tribute movie I have ever seen. I hope that these guys could do the whole movie this way, given more dimension to the whole movie. This asks for 10 lines... two more to go about this movie. This is just a must see for any and all Python fans.

Every time I watch this, it still makes me laugh and grin. The Lego figures are very similar to their real film counterparts, and the dead parrot scene was a subtle joke, as was the 'it's only a (Lego) model'. It's just so well done and so accurate even in Lego parts to the film that it's great. The song itself is very funny and jumpy, and I love the Clark Gable line, and the 'eat ham and jam and spam a lot' line. I can find barely any faults in this whole little film. Hopefully, Lego and some other film company will someday do another great Lego styled parody to filming. Perhaps a Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter parody would be funny. Until then, we can just wish for more...

A remarkable homage/parody of the "Camelot" song and dance from the "Holy Grail" motion picture. Essentially, the scene is totally redone with LEGO figures and blocks, but is true to the movie--which is why it is so hilarious. I look forward to a LEGO CASABLANCA, or a LEGO parting of the Red Sea from TEN COMMANDMENTS!

Well here is a film that was included on the Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD. It was made with lego and some sort of animation kit thing available from lego.com. I had seen this little video online before I saw it on the dvd but it's extra fun on the dvd I guess just because I can see it on my large TV in sharp clarity. It's a lego animation of the approach to Camelot, and the following song, and then King Arthur's final thoughts of Camelot. I made a few lego animations when I was a child with my dad's video camera and lego people, I wish I had my films recognized! Ah well, at least one lego video has made it to international dvd release. Heh heh heh. Maybe more will follow! Hurrah at the thought of that!I like it. It's pure fun.
