Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
This is How Movies Should Be Made
Am I Missing Something?
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
View MoreWhat a terrible waste of an excellent cast. The 2 lads that the film revolved around were not likeable lads and consequently towards the end I was hoping that aliens were going to abduct them. Sadly it didn't happen. But it didn't stop me from hoping for it. What was Celia Imrie doing here? She could have done this blindfolded, stood upside down and still been the star. A wasted opportunity
View MoreI watched this for free accidentally because Netflix currently has it wrongly labelled. I want my money back. It's just awful. It doesn't deserve the 4.8/10 IMDb rating. The story progression is so slow. Mainly due to there being no story. The acting is awful. The characters are poor, obnoxious brothers an unnecessarily drunk head teacher, a chain smoking teacher. The editing is awful. Unnecessary shots just to drag out scenes. No overall point to the story or morale message. Apparently it's OK to steal a laptop from a hospital, steal bikes, and ride for free on trains. The end was the most single disappointing climax I've witnessed. What was the point? 1.5 hours of life I'll never get back. What a waste of talent like Brenda Blethyn, Timothy Spall and Mel Smith. Watch 'Millions' instead, a truly great, Christmas film. If you've already seen it, watch it again rather than this, it's awful.
View MoreWhen you search for this film on Amazon its sold under the title "Christmas Angel" In this film A Fifteen year old boy named Eddie is on a shopping trip with his mother when she is tragically struck by a car and left in critical condition. With their father absent from their lives, Eddie and his brother Stewart face the daunting prospect of potentially losing their mother just as Christmas approaches. One night Eddie has dream that he thinks his mother is sending him that she can be saved if Eddie finds an angel before Christmas. Now this is not a typical "Hallmark" Christmas film. This is very different from those and it is a nice change of pace. This film is not really for small kids and not for people that have short attentions spans. This is a film that doesn't rush things because "All Good Things Come To Those Who Waite"
