Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

Good movie but grossly overrated

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

You have to like B style movies to appreciate this flick. It was hilarious throughout the whole movie. The practical effects with minimal CG effects gives this a bump up in stars for me. While there was some fill in with CG, it was done tastefully. I loved the story, it was outrageous, funny, and entertaining. If there was more boob action it would have been the perfect B style movie. The only real complaint I had was the overdub of audio, I don't know what they did, but it sounded as if the audio was rerecorded. This is defiantly going on my list of best B movies of 2016. Just be prepared for outrageous, campy fun!

This film is a gross-out tour de force that starts strong and doesn't stop. While it is clearly hampered by budget, the gore keeps coming in resourceful and innovative ways. There is so much creativity and comedy crammed into the run time that I defy anyone not to at least enjoy this movie. Having said that it definitely caters more to fans of low budget and gory horror. This movie isn't about scares, it's about grossing you out to the point where even the most hardened gore-hound winces and has to look away. There was also clearly a lot of thought put into the story and it looked like the people making the film really loved the experience, and this translates well into the actual movie.Overall I can't recommend this film enough if you are a fan of low budget horror, it's funny, it's disgusting, and with a little more polish it could have been an instant classic. Whatever the case it is certainly worth a watch!

Basically a masterpiece of the genre - twisted, sick and funny. And the filmmakers have balls, taking things to a level rarely dared. One quick example – after a high school hottie discards a bloody tampon in a gas station toilet a zombie janitor fishes it out and wolfs it down like a tasty morsel.But as aggressively as Night of Something Strange pursues the gross-out humor it still maintains a level of charm due to the actors' performances. The movie is also for the most part well-shot with smart camera work (especially the night time stuff). And it has one of the best music scores I've ever heard in a low budget indie. The weakest part about Night of Something Strange is its rather generic title.

Not knowing what to expect from this one I saw it was supposed to be a funny horror. Funny horrors mostly doesn't work out but there are exceptions like this one.Let me be straight, this is a no-brainer. Just sit and enjoy. For some people this will be over the top because it's all about teens eager to have sex and terribly going wrong but you will see if you watching this flick. The flick starts immediately with pure horror and before you know it you are into a funny ride full of gore gore ,a bit of nudity and gore. I can't spoil what is going on but it all starts with necrophilia. From there on the virus is on his way to conquer the world. And just when you think that this flick is falling down on humour when a guy is having sex in the dark with his girlfriend, you're in for another ride of...well, just pick this up if you do like for example Tucker And Dale (2010) or the Ash vs Evil Dead series.
