Wonderful character development!
SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
View MoreI didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
View MoreStory: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
After Watching Operation 021 i am thrilled. Brilliantly crafted movie i have ever watched in Pakistan history. The screenplay was awesome, background music was great. Shan performance was awesome, his dialogue delivery style was great.Amina sheikh and Shamoon Abbasi and also the rest of the cast performed well in this film. The only reason a small fraction of people are not liking it is because its bitter truth or some are morons who didn't understand the concept of the movie.Or who like to watch 'Rohit Shetty' Movies. Not the regular social drama, masala and item song drama that is in demand. In the end this is the best script and quality pakistani movie so far.A must watch movie.
View MoreWatched movie yesterday and i'm completely blown away by its brilliance. From direction to execution of scenes, the mastered background music, dialogues specially between Joe Towne and Hameed Sheikh, the chemistry of Shaan and Amina, all done in an amazing way. The CIA part has its positives to add to the story as it proceeded further. Though the audio glitches at some points were a bit surprise but they did not affect the entire experience and were easily ignorable. First half was a bit slow but it was to be expected from a spy thriller as in this genre you cannot show the thrills and fights in the very beginning. As the story built itself further, more interesting it became to watch. The cinematography, superb acting and fantastic background score made it a fabulous watch. This film is undoubtedly a benchmark set for Pakistani cinema which is going through a rebirth process right from its ashes. Yes! Its for those people out there who have got brains and a real taste for movies. Its not lite but its lovely, its not your ordinary film but immersive. It takes you with it if you are following every scene and if you know what you are watching. Hats off to Jami, Azaan, Zeba Ji and the entire team for this fantastic movie. I loved it and may I say, I will be watching it again. Love
View MoreJust watched this movie and I must say that Lollywood is maturing a mile ahead of its neighboring industry. For any viewer, the first part of the movie required their patience, however the second part was where the story picked its motion. Having said all this, I think this movie if marketed well should do well abroad Pakistan. Most of the dialogues of this movie were in English, where as it is difficult for the general Pakistani masses to digest such hard stuff, where they are used to lighter things as tea with sugar. I think it should have been dubbed in Urdu for a common Pakistani man and the current version should have been there to target the intellectual and educated class. I hope the director and producer learns from this experience.Terming it as black coffee means signifies the flick being bitter, but has the capacity to open the the eyes of the audience of the the blunt realities of forces, which are more powerful than nations. Summing it up, I must say the effort was very much commendable and the movie does show the realities being faced by the Afghan nation and the similar corporate dilemma is also being faced by the people of Pakistan in Balochistan. In short,... Team O21.. Well Done..
View MoreAfter watching the trailer i have made some expectation keeping WAAR (movie) in my mind. Frankly, movie wasn't at the level which was expected but yet very much watchable.. Story is revolving around an Afghan patriot (Ayub), a rouge Paki agent (Shan), and couple of CIA agents. Shan was again superb, Shamoon was as good as always, Ayub Khosa was again proving himself on big screen, direction was good as well. The draw back is the slow pace of the movie and some part of it i was confused whether its Pakistani movie or Afghani.. A decent effort but it could be much more definitely.I recommend to go cinema to watch a family thriller and promote Pakistani film industry. Its a decent effort after WAAR to keep industry alive..
