I loved all your critics. This movie deserves a great deal of honors. But I did not only love the film. I also listened to the beautiful music. I have been looking on the web but could not find anything about is. That in fact, I found it very strange, as the main theme came up over and over again, all the time slightly different. Really fantastically done. It supported the plot of the film in a strong way, sometimes sad, then funny and later melodramatic etc. Did anyone else listen too? And have a look at the end titles who made it? I forgot that stupid enough. Hope you can help, waiting for your reply...I guess it would help already to learn the composer, but any additional information would be most welcome too!

So-so comedy heist movie about three friends trying to think of a way to make some money (though actually getting a job never seems to occur to them). Starts with a suprisingly unfunny jewellery store robbery gone wrong and continues to go nowhere throughout. None of the characters are particularly likeable, but the worst offender is Vincent Gallo, who for some reason seems to be trying to act like Quentin Tarantino. Instead of using Tarantino's questionable acting skills the makers should have tried to be more like him in the script department. But they haven't. And Palookaville is boring and goes nowhere as a result.

A comedy about a three friends that plan to make a profitable crime. Sounds fun. But the truth: I was bored. There were some moments that were truly funny like the beginning where they accidentally rob a bakery and steal sweets. And at the end when they try to rob an armored truck and the outcome. But honestly everything between was boring to me. Each one had their own dramatic story on why they should take a "life of crime", which contained no humor or heart. I could care less for these guys except William Forsythe whom had dogs in the movie. Everyone likes dogs. A suggestion: check out "Bottle Rocket". Somewhat the same plot but tons more funny.

A trio of small town friends intent on pulling off a big-time burglary. Nothing in life seems to favor them and this heist won't either. The cast is young and fresh and the plot is humorous and exciting. Extremely watchable. Good flick for a pick-me up some night.
