disgusting, overrated, pointless
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
View MoreThe plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
View MoreThe movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
View MorePassenger 57 is an absolutely brilliant thriller which is enjoyable to watch. The film is full of action, tension, explosions and awesome and powerful Martial Arts moves. The film has an excellent cast starring Wesley Snipes as John Cutter, Bruce Payne as Charles Rane, Tom Sizemore as Sly Delvecchio, Alex Datcher as Marti Slayton, Elizabeth Hurley as Sabrina Ritchie, Michael Horse as Forget and Marc Macaulay as Vincent. Wesley Snipes acting as Airline Security Expert John Cutter is absolutely brilliant and his Martial Arts moves were awesome. Bruce Paynes acting as the malicious Terrorist Charles Rane was also absolutly brilliant and he sounded very evil the way he spoke in the film which was also absolutely brilliant and Bruce really did a brilliant job acting as the villain Charles Rane. The acting by Tom Sizemore as Sly Delvecchio and Alex Datcher was also brilliant. The acting by Elizabeth Hurley as Sabrina Ritchie, Michael Horse as Forget and Marc Macaulay as Vincent as the terrorists who were part of Charles Ranes team was also brilliant. There are so many things that I like about this film, one thing is that the Passenger 57 theme tune is absolutely brilliant and sounds awesome and really goes with the film, another thing is that the action is awesome and amazing. There are many more things that I like about this film, it's hard to say what they all are but I definitely can say that Passenger 57 is an absolutely brilliant Wesley Snipes film. Wesley Snipes does some excellent films and in thrillers he has starred in, when he has to fight he does fight very well and in this film he really kicks ass when using his Martial Arts moves to fight against the villains. Snipes may not be as strong as Michael Jai White but he's got skills in a few Martial Arts and is quite powerful. In Passenger 57 when John Cutter is on the plane wanting help he is seated holding a book called The Art of War. The film the Art of War starring Wesley Snipes is also an excellent film with action and awesome fight scenes. I don't know why Passenger 57 is underrated and has been given only 5.9/10 and why some people have given it low scores of 1/10, 2/10, 3/10, 4/10, 5/10 and 6/10. Those people who have given Passenger 57 low scores and written unfair comments about the film are dickheads because this film is awesome. People who given it 7/10, 8/10, 9/10 and 10/10 are not dickheads and know that this film is an awesome film. One thing about Passenger 57 is that you definitely won't be disappointed when watching it because it's absolutely awesome and amazing and I definitely will watch this film again because I don't find or think it's boring. I absolutely love this film and definitely recommend watching this film if you really like Wesley Snipes films.
View MoreBelieve it or not but i have seen the trailers many times before as a kid but have never remembered to see the movie... until now. Wow! what a fun experience! The way the lines and action was timed, got a lot of laughs from me.This, ladies and Gentlemen is one of the examples of a bygone style of action movie making that is lost forever. They had an editing rhythm, a certain style of smart and funny lines, basically they were aiming to be as fun as the old Tom and Jerry cartoons. Everything felt real, there was no CGI plane, in fact there must have been just 5% of VFX work in this film. The build up to the action sprinkled many hilarious clues of what is to happen. There was a twist i did not see coming and that person had contact with knuckles at the end. The main Villain had some wonderfully fun lines to deliver. I haven't laughed at puns in years. This one got me by surprise. There was a scene where i had to pause with laughter when Snipes runs out of the control tower and karate kicks the life out of one officer. LOL. it was timed so well.If you haven't seen this Wesley Snipes movie then do it now! Its a tight action movie that is very fun to watch with beers and friends.A weird detail i noticed..Wesley Snipes was in the "Bad!" music video facing off against Micheal Jackson. Here.. his female lead looks like Micheal Jackson!Wesley Snipes..man...he is a popular actor for sure but had so much potential to be a superstar. Now he is back. Somebody give this guy a real movie.
View MoreOnce upon a time there was "Die Hard" (1988), a film in which a wisecracking hero battled terrorists within the cramped confines of a skyscraper. This formula would lead to "Die Hard" on a boat ("Under Siege", "Speed 2"), "Die Hard" on a train ("Under Siege 2"), "Die Hard" on a bus ("Speed"), "Die Hard" on a mountain ("Cliffhanger"), "Die Hard" in a mall ("Point Blank"), "Die Hard" in a ski resort ("Icebreaker"), "Die Hard" in a school ("Masterminds"), "Die Hard" in a stadium ("Sudden Death"), "Die Hard" in the White House ("Olympus Has Fallen"/"White House Down"), "Die Hard" in the President's personal plane ("Air Force One"), "Die Hard" in a prison ("The Rock"), "Die Hard" in an airport ("Die Hard 2"), "Die Hard" in a city ("Die Hard 3") and "Die Hard" in a plane ("Passeger 57", "Executive Decision").Directed by Kevin Hooks, "Passenger 57" stars Wesley Snipes as John Cutter, a butt kicking law-man who's having the worst damn day of his life. We watch Cutter beat up terrorists, do crazy stunts and wade through a film rife with 1990s mullets, epic Casio keyboard music, zany clothes, gold earrings, giant shoulder pads, Michael Jackson doubles, Arsenio Hall jokes and tons of cheese. Strictly by-the-numbers, Snipes elevates some moments with his real-life martial arts skills. The film co-stars Tom Sizemore as a guy who delivers exposition.6/10 – Worth one viewing.
View MoreThis movie is the absolute worst airplane movie I have ever seen! It's a mix between comedy, Miami Vice, Karate Kid, and black power all condensed into 80 minutes. They use Karate moves WAY too much in unnecessary situations, there is major discrimination towards Southerners and British, and the decisions made by the made character could have been thought up better by a preschooler. Seriously. The acting sucks, it is entirely cheesy and their punchlines sound like a self-centered fifth grader wrote this for his class play. I have no idea what the screenwriters were thinking when they filmed this. Just look at all the goofs for this movie and I can assure you this is longer than a low-budget 90's flunk. Do NOT watch this movie!!!
