Best movie of this year hands down!
A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
View MoreI didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
View MoreThe plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
View MoreAll of the build up, the tension, the suspense, and the story come out here. Nothing is left out, it's all represented perfectly as Yuki and company attempt to combat the end of the world. This is the longest film of the whole series, but it never feels overstuffed. The first half is dedicated to the characters struggling with the end of the world approaching. Each character deals with it in their own way. Junpei becomes more aggressive because he can't accept the truth. Yukari becomes depressed and closes herself off from everybody. Akihiko becomes more generous and caring towards his team members. Ken begins to regret almost killing Shinji, but also sorry that Shinji sacrificed himself in order to save him. Mitsuru mourns over her father having died in vain. Fuuka can't decide whether or not to tell her friend Natsuki the truth of their demise. Aegis just wants everyone's suffering to end as soon as possible. And Yuki struggles with whether or not to erase his friend's memories or continue fighting. After Yuki makes his decision to fight on, the second half of the movie is the team climbing Tartarus and fighting Nyx. Their friendship is put to the ultimate test, and Yuki has to use all of his and his friend's power to defeat Nyx. I really hope this gets an English dub sometime in the future. It doesn't even have to be the voice actors from the game, but I would really appreciate Atlus doing that. If you're a fan of "Persona 3", you owe it to yourself to watch all four of these movies, you will not be disappointed. The story's a fantastic tale of not only friendship, but also being able to face the world around you, no matter how intimidating it may seem.
