I have never been a big fan of but he was better when he was stealing other people's jokes. Maybe he should search some old comedy tapes for new material. 1 star is generous for this slop.
View Morestand up comics live in a cozy little bubble of entertaining mainly upper class urban elites who will laugh at anything during their shows. The comedy culture in India is sustained by champagne liberals and comedians unsurprisingly pander to the prevailing global liberal talking points. Vir Das is no different. Coming to this special, the continual switch from New York to Delhi was annoying and as expected it was littered with PC liberal talking points. It would have turned out better if he pandered to a single audience possibly the Indian one where he would at least get a few laughs.
