I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

Peter Rottentail played by one of the movie's directors John Polonia is no ordinary pet.A part-human,part-rabbit monstrosity produced by a magician at one horrific birthday party,Peter is out for blood. When a couple decides to rent the house in which the party took place, they're in for a murderous fight for their lives.I haven't seen "Razorteeth",but if it is as bad as "Peter Rottentail" then I give up.The acting, the special effects, the dialogue, the gore-everything is straight from grade school play.Admittedly I laughed few times during this childish and unfunny horror comedy. The bunny rabbit who uses carrots to kill is a great idea, but not well-developed here.I kind of enjoyed "Splatter Farm" due to its morbid mood, but this one goes to the trash can.

1st off I'd like to say I'm all for low budget films and wouldn't judge a film as being bad if it wasn't,but this is really in my top 10 worst films I've ever seen.Sub Rosa's a company who you can split into two parts the fine Eric Stanze productions (he's groundbreaking now, just wait till he gets the budget he deserves) and this which wouldn't even work as a troma release.I know your not meant to take these cult comic,grade-z films serious but this isn't good by a long shot bad video fx,bad unfunny dialog, bad plot & and most of all a bad idea to stretch what woulda made a lame skit on a comedy show, just hope they had fun making it cause I very much doubt anyone who wasn't involved in it would.theNomad says go eleswere for this style of film done well,if you haven't you could check out street trash or brain damage..(1 out of 10 for the "nice carrot patch" line)

Horror movie and B-Movie fans everywhere know that good films often are the cheesiest ones in which the directors take light of the movie and make it an enjoyable experience for it's viewers. This movie fits right in with great classics we all know and love. We watch them for kicks with our friends or suffer through them on MST3k. There's no need for Mike and The Bots here though, as you'll be having enough fun with the movie by yourself, or bonuses if you bring your friends. Just beware, it takes a B-Movie fan to truly enjoy this, bring your Hollywood blockbuster CGI loving friends along, and they'll lynch you. If you've seen any other Palonia films you'll know why. He cares more about actual film making then about cramming Special Effects down your throat. The end result is a fun filled, Cheese ridden B-Movie that will stick with you for a long long time.

One of the best independent films I've seen in some time, from the legendary Polonia Brothers. A very "tongue-in-cheek" production which doesn't skimp on the cheese, but which nonetheless contains some impressive effects. Most noteworthy are Lenny's death scene and the final battle between James and Peter Rottentail. Funny stuff! The DVD features prove to be quite informative(especially the director's commentary and the interviews with the cast), and provide an insight into the world of low-budget film making. The two lead characters compliment each other nicely and have a good chemistry. Watch this one with some friends for an experience which can only be described as "unique"!
