Best movie ever!

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

This film was just plain boring, I think if it had been a short of the last 20 minutes it would have been good but the first however much of the film (felt like hours) was pointless, annoying and ruined the concept. I wouldn't recommend to any one or maybe just watch the last 20 minutes, because nothing happened before this and the back story is completely irrelevant and a complete waste of anyone's time. I don't think there was anything wrong with the acting like many have said, I just think nearly an hours script of dialogue and arguing would be tedious for any viewer. Watch the last 20 minutes, but don't expect greatness.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I really enjoyed Pod and I don't quite understand its low IMDb rating. Most of the negative reviews criticize the film for its lengthy scenes of dialog and lack of action or horror. I think the problem is expecting Pod to be a horror or sci-fi film that it isn't trying to be, possibly due to its trailer. The lengthy scenes of dialog and conflict were precisely what I enjoyed most about the movie. It's a solid script willing to take its time establishing the dynamics between all three siblings. Once brother and sister Lyla and Ed meet with their brother Martin, Pod unfolds as a psychological thriller. The tension grows until all hell breaks loose in the final act. Lauren Ashley Carter delivers a superb performance as Lyla, portraying a young woman in conflict with her family, yet conveying a real emotional connection to her siblings. When the action comes late in the film, Carter reaffirms my belief that she is THE Scream Queen of modern indie film.Brian Morvant also delivers a strong performance as the mentally unstable Martin. Is he schizophrenic or are his ramblings actually true? Morvant plays these scenes with conviction and believably. I was fascinated by the story and very anxious watching and wondering how it would unfold. Pod takes risks with its main characters in a way most big-budget films won't dare. Don't watch this movie expecting a sci-fi or horror film that plays out as you would expect, but rather take the time to enjoy the dialog and appreciate the performances.

Acting : zero of 10. Script - the same. A less then low budget B-movie, something like the 1 hour of 12 years kids playing Halloween with a camera in a bad day. All the movie are 3 peoples acting not just bad but terrific, a shaking camera, red lights or no light at all, and 2 more peoples with 2 minutes roles each; all common places, no ideas at all, nothing original and just an awful movie. I can say its the worst movie of the year, by far. I give 1 star, but the real value should be 10 negative stars.Save your time and take the kids to a walk on park, or the dog - no matter, anything its better then this 1 hour + of torture.

The plot starts with a younger brother and sister who receive a disturbing phone call. From there older brother who was a veteran of the Gulf war in the middle east. The family has a shaky foundation because the three children have had past difference's etcetra over the years on various issue's. One thing that really brings stress, pain and anxiety tensions is news from there older brother.Who by the way has been diagnosed with post traumatic symptoms from his tour oversea's.Thats were your to believe as the viewer were much of the foundation of this family fell apart over the years? On arriving at the older brothers home, they are surprised to find him very paranoid and agitated that they came over. Particularly when he instructed them in the phone message not to come over. He tell's them this while pointing agun at them. The two siblings make and effort to calm him down enough so he puts down the gun. Then starts telling his brother and sister about a special training mission he was involved in oversea's? That involved drugs, blackouts, and fellow soldiers that disappeared mysteriously over time. And how some of them before they became missing mentioned something about super soldiers we could all become as apart of this specialist training unit ??? The movie from that point begins to have hints and suspicius research documents that are found in another room that correlate to a military government cover-up that may link to out of this world genetic stangeness etc.???
