Good story, Not enough for a whole film

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

This movie was totally a masala movie I like the songs there were really splendid kudiya sh-er Di was really fun old version 18 years back in Arjun pundit is superb kendi men-no is my faveScreenplay is good Editing is good story-line is very good direction is not bad Sunny deol is really good in his role he made me laugh Bobby deol was the show steal-er in his comeback he made me laugh really hard shreayas did really well in his acting and directing debut performance Other were decent Superb comedy I laughed so hard and a lot Don't ever miss this A decent watch with family Rating is 8/10 or 4/5 movie will be successful at box office

POSTER BOYS REVIEW : I have already watched Marathi version of Poster Boys multiple times on TV and liked it so obviously i was not expecting much from the Hindi version. But despite being predictable for me, film did not disappoint at all. From the Beginning till the end film doesn't lose the grip so it end up as a Decent One Time Watch. If i compare it with the marathi film then there will be so many minuses but i think it would be unfair so let it remain individual film and let me talk about it.Performances of 3 lead male stars lifts the tempo of the film. Sunny Deol is massy, loudy so does lovable in his most lovable avatar. Bobby plays a decent and gentleman's characters so this one doesn't impress much. Shreyas is playing a Tapori character and may be that is why he looks different from Deols and connects well with the audience. Music is below average and thankfully there are No useless songs in a film except the beginning credit song in which Elli Avram skin show is eye pleasing for masses. Screenplay is tight, no useless scenes, it is sticked to the content strictly that's why film doesn't go off track for a minute. Direction wise Shreyas doesn't show something new but still it looked good because he had strong script in hands so there's no need to do much. And thankfully he did not try anything and did not try to disturb the main theme of the film. Dialogues are catchy, some PJs are hilarious such as Sunny Deol's famous dialogues, Soldier's ringtone and many more.Overall, Poster Boys is a Decent and watchful film with mixture of Good and realistic script, Comedy, few massy scenes and above all there's a Social message in climax. So go for this one, if you have not seen the Marathi version then you'll like it very much and even if you have watched the marathi version still film won't disappoint you. I give 6/10* to this Well made, Well crafted, Social Comedy flick.

One man discovers his sister's fiance's father has called off the wedding; another, that his fiancee's father has done likewise; a third, that his wife is walking out. It takes twenty minutes for them to discover what has disgraced them in the eyes of their village: there's a government campaign to encourage men to get vasectomies, and they're the poster boys. Everyone thinks it's disgraceful. The thing is, none of them have done it.This Bollywood comedy spends the first twenty minutes flailing about, until it settles down and becomes engaging; there are too many loud comedy turns by too many people to offer much beyond comic stereotypes. It is only when calm, rational, moral Sunny Deol loses his temper that he emerges as the leader of the three and balances the comic triad. The story never quite lives up to its promise, as they are frustrated by events, government inertia and continually up the stakes, until they decide -- for no clear reason -- to strip naked in protest. However, there are some bright comic bits along the way.

In recent times we have dealt with two movies that also deal with mentality of people. The first is released earlier. It deals with toilet problem in rural India 'Toilet – Ek prem katha'. The other movie is this one, namely 'Poster boys'. It deals with birth control method of vasectomy and girl child. It is crafted really well.The movie keeps you engaged in the first half. Few ten minutes of second half seem boring. It may be because of buffalo jokes in second half. The movie catches well again irrespective of that. I even liked the action minister takes in front of crowd after knowing the truth.Shreyas has got all good help which he could have got that it itself is a great treat.Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: It is captured well.Tone: The core message that movie tries to deliver takes place in ending few minutes of the movie. Rest assured the movie belongs to comedy genre.Music: Music is average.Acting: Everybody has acted well.It is worth a watch.rating: 6.5/10.
