Hardcore gangsta Isaiah Knight decides to leave his gang, The Platinum Playaz, to go straight and look after his mother and sister. When he opens up his own nightclub, the members of his former crew see it as the perfect place to make a big drug score. Desperate to stay legit, Knight scuppers the drug deal, invoking the wrath of Lynch, the new leader of the Playaz, who decides to take revenge by ambushing Knight. Knight's mother and sister are killed during the hit and when Lynch escapes prosecution for the killings, Knight decides to exact his own form of bloody justice.

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

I rented this movie because it was the same filmmakers who made Love and a Bullet (this film was first) while Random Acts of Violence lacked the social commentary of LB I had just as much fun.If you like blaxplotation mixed with your chop socky and a little Tartatino thrown in for good measure then this film is for you.Mack 10 is a little stiff as the villain and Chyna (Morpheous's stunt double from the Matrix) dishes out some brutal payback but the real stars of this film is the trio of Benny Blanco, Slo Mo and Rated X! These dudes are crazy and in the times of Political Correctness they're a breath of fresh air and ruled every scene they were in! The draw backs are you can tell it was a low budget film due to sets, locations, etc, etc but Love and a Bullet was a step up and dying to see what Kantz does next.

This movie is the tale of a Isaiah Knight (McCoy) who left the life behind when his gang, the Platinum Playaz, started dealing hard drugs. The Playaz then killed Knight's entire family, and he goes on a one man killing spree of the Playaz seeking revenge. This movie has one of the worst storylines I have ever seen, with terrible fight scenes (think the Matrix, but the slo-mo is their actual speed), shocking characters (Lynch's ladies are a prime example) and the worst use of a sniper rifle in history (picking off his target from 20feet away)I get the feeling that they were trying to be funny, but the result is a movie that looks like a bad porno without the sex. Or perhaps they made it for their group of friends, like an in-joke, but if my friends made this tripe they would no longer be my friends. Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this.
