Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

View MoreThe movie really just wants to entertain people.
Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
View MoreThis movie is a disgrace and a discredit to the men involved in the Norco Bank Robbery. There isn't a bit truth in the entire movie the people responsible for producing it should be ashamed to credit this trash.
View MoreI give it a two because i was able to watch the whole thing, it was pretty bad, the police, were totally un-trained, they had no clue what they were doing, it was a pathetic show of police 'tactics' and shootouts. after they left the bank and just stood in the street shooting and shooting and shooting, and dudes are screaming 'lets go in the truck, in the truck' 'get in the truck lets go lets go' over and over again but they still stand there shooting rubber bullets at the police instead of just getting the heck out of dodge. what happened to their overwhelming firepower? a couple rifles and a improvised grenade launcher that they only used once or twice? that was sad. don't waste your time this movie sucks.
View MoreIt's hard to believe this was based on real events; all that carnage for what? If it's depicted as accurate the shopping mall siege and the revenge for Billy's killing went on too long. The writing wasn't as tight as I'd expected from the write up on the back of the DVD cover which leads us to believe it is a relentless action movie full of high speed chases and action. It was, well, to a point ... once it got going, some 45 minutes in that is ... in events like this, there are always casualties and apart from the wounded, who hopefully recovered, it is so sad to learn that one of the policemen died and he'd recently become a father.Nothing was gained by the gang at the end of the movie, except death for 2 of them and prison for the other 2, the leader was played by David Cubitt (a brief deviation from Detective Lee Scanlon in Medium) and while he gives a great performance as the ringleader (as did all of the other respective actors) I feel the writing could have been better. As it was, the story felt very loose and half hearted. The actors did their best but they were let down by the writing, directing and overall direction the powers that be wanted this movie to go.Apologies to those who disagree, it's just my opinion that's all.
View MoreIn Norco, California, four rednecks plot a bank robbery using heavy ammunition to intimidate clients and the police force expecting to have better life. However, one employee activates the silent alarm in the police station, and the criminals are chased by the police and LA SWAT. In despair, they shoot about 20,000 shots, kill one policeman, hit other eight, and destroy many cars and properties and one helicopter. In the end, the two survivors are sentenced to life without parole."Rapid Fire" is a reasonable television movie based on one of the most violent heist of the North American history, with a long shootout and car chase. This forgettable movie is no bad but only recommended for entertainment. My vote is six.Title (Brazil): "Fogo Cruzado" ("Crossed Fire")
