Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

The. Best. TV. Detective show/short drama. Ever. Stunning script. Flawless, moving acting, beautiful cinematography. Humour and heartbreak. Exceptional. Nothing else comes close. Watch it. Then watch it again

Me and the wife are very poor at watching TV (at 60 years old we have NEVER had terrestrial TV and only acquired Netflix a couple of years ago) so I cannot base this review on a lot of comparisons. We enjoy these jolly 'cop' dramas though - and this was the usual 'well - let's have a look and see if it's any good'What a joy. The script, the acting - wow. Most of the characters were fine - a couple were annoying but - in general - cast was spot on.Review here say it's slow - mebe that's kinda the society we live in now - lots of consumers want fast paced action and are not capable of giving art a time to develop? I dunno. All I can say is the action is in the dialogue - as well as in the visuals. The final scenes - heart breaking. Took me a couple of minutes to compose myself at the end - no joke. Even thinking of those last 10 minutes now brings tears to my eyes. Now - as far as I am concerned - that is powerful film making!Enjoy!

Throughly enjoy this series, worthy of a prequel. A great cast well written shame there's only one series

It is the type of show that people with lots of time and an easy life can enjoy. It is slow, weak and implores psychological perils of different human beings. The reason I say it is for a certain type of people; it is as far away as reality as you can have. Life is fast paced and keeps us all occupied. We do not want a TV show that takes us into a pointless fantasy land that doesn't make any sense. The acting is quite good, character building is good too. Dialogues are almost non-existent barring one character and his script is again, good for a literature student but repulsive and un-relatable to a normal human being. And the worst part: the show is very slow - to a point that it becomes pointless.
