Russell Peters: Red, White and Brown Trailers

In this sold-out performance, Canadian comic Russell Peters skewers racial stereotypes as he offers his audacious take on multiculturalism--including his Indian heritage and culture clashes around the world. Recorded live at Madison Square Garden's WAMU theater and broadcast on Showtime, this stand-up concert is not to be missed. Red, White and Brown is the second stand-up comedy album by Canadian comedian Russell Peters, recorded at the WAMU Theatre in Madison Square Garden on February 2, 2008.[3] The CD/DVD was released in Canada on September 30, 2008, and in the U.S. on January 27, 2009, debuting at #3 on the Canadian Albums Chart.[4] The hip hop theme music was produced by Marco Polo, and legendary MC Melle Mel introduced Peters to the stage.

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Russell Peters jokes and the crowd roars. People complain of stomach ache, tears roll out of their eyes, they want more of him, more of his albums, more of his live comedies...Because this time even, he delivers. Since the start, I was hooked to my seat. The DVD is over 90 minutes long and only in the end, did he take a slightly, apparently bad role. He started ridiculing handicapped people and the audience were not receiving it nicely. Nor did I. He said he had a point but that was ambiguous. except the one bad thing, the whole album was filled with racist jokes, breaking stereotypes and stuff.I was enthralled by his theories, one of which relates to why he doesn't wanna call Mumbai as Mumbai, but as Bombay. He has a reason and good one, as well. One best thing about his shows is that you can cite his jokes in your conversation to keep the mindset happy & humorous. Very nice. The vulgar factor is totally acceptable because without being obscene, he makes us laugh. His gestures, his expressions all are so peculiar and funny, I can laugh just by thinking if it. Wonderful!

Russell Peters... Amazing, Extraordinary, Priceless...Russell Peters is one of the funniest comedians of the new millennium. is this a stupid question or what? Russell Peters played to 15,000 people at the Air Canada Centre and he'll play to 15,000 more many more times so is there anyone else in comedy right now who could sell 30,000 tickets? maybe one other person, right? No i don't think so. Prove me wrong?Russell Peters stand up comedy is its own kind, full of laugh after laugh. I never liked stand up but oh my, Russell Peters takes it to another level with his ability to mimic many accents of South Asian, Chinese, Persian, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, American, Jamaican and Canadian accents really have to be heard to be believed. He has the body language and facial expressions of his targets down pat this is a man who can gesture in other languages. We found ourselves pinching one leg to keep from laughing over any of Peters incisive observations about humanity. His racial jokes are things you have never heard before, they truly are funniest and truest things you will ever hear. He runs through a dozen distinguishing ethnic characteristics, how Italians insult people by calling them vegetable names, how Indian people pose for photos, how Indians and Armenians are hairy, how South Americans pronounce their country names, who can't drink, who gets loud, why Arabs look so fierce on TV. He mocks anyone and everyone, and no one is exempt. One of the funniest segments in his show is a send up of the blind, the deaf and the halt and everyone else with any sort of handicap. You laugh in spite of yourself. This review cant explain how funny Russell Peters is you have too see it to believe it and i guarantee you will agree with me. Russell Peters is one of the few true comedians we have left and he will make you laugh until your stomach begs you to stop. Red White & Brown is a must see!!
