Secrets of Scotland Yard Trailers

This documentary provides a brief history of the creation of the Metropolitan Police Service (The Met) and several famous investigations and scandals of the detectives of "Scotland Yard". From the creation of the Met to its transformation into one of the premier crime fighting institutions in the world, Scotland Yard's history has been marked by its use of innovative technology and bureaucracy to catch criminals and prevent crime. This documentary uses a number of famous cases to showcase the use of new technologies and methodologies to investigate and solve some of the Met's most famous cases. Each case is used to highlight how the Met employed new techniques to investigate criminal activity, and in most cases solve crimes. Some of these new techniques also include the establishment of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the Flying Squad, the systematic collection and cataloging of fingerprints, and so forth.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Not bad, but not great either. Some interesting historical information and moves along well enough to hold your attention, but overall seems a bit light and shallow. Mostly I just wish it had been a lot more information intense, but that may turn off some other people. The three other people I watched it with felt the same thing--decent and worth watching, but not exceptional. Also, very oddly, the show fails to mention (as far as I noticed) that the diamond in the Millennium Dome heist was replaced with a fake prior to the attempted theft--this is well known and a credit to Scotland Yard, so I can't think of any reason not to mention it.
