Brilliant and touching
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

View MoreIn the year 2071 Kamp an astronaut is given the task of exploring a new planet . As he explores the new planet he becomes aware that he is not alone and is being watched According to the box office/business link on this page SEED cost an estimated %500 . I've got to query this as a misprint that there might be a digit missing at the front or a couple of zeros at the end because the production values don't seem humanly possible on this minuscule budget. The breathtaking cinematography shot in a greyish/brown tone by Justin Michael Anderson surpasses much of what you see in big Hollywood productions and what makes it even more astounding is that its his debut . Not so surprising is that Anderson has several more projects in the pipeline and don't be surprised in the near future this guy will be as well regarded as Roger Deakins Where the film falls short is the storytelling . There's lots of moody shots of the protagonist Kamp trekking through a strange and possibly hostile landscape and if the story resembles anything it's possibly the 2009 movie MOON . That said SEED isn't really a short film that concerns itself with plot turns and is effectively a calling card for director Tyson Wade Johnston and cinematographer Anderson who've caused a minor miracle of making a visually impressive film on a budget that cost $500
