Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful

Admirable film.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Chief mystery of "Serena the Sexplorer" is its distribution, as IMDb lists HBO while I just saw it in the "After Dark" section of Showtime on Demand. I thought these were competing entities.At any rate, there are some sexy ladies that give life to the low-effort nudie show, especially Britney Young, a mainstay of the Skinemax generation whose breasts still seem natural but much bigger, bouncing up and down for the fans. The simulated sex is quite fake, probably due to this being a soft-core project rather than a re-edited hardcore one.Lead performer in title role as yet another alien sent from a distant planet to mate (or at least test out) with human men on Earth in some cockamamie attempt to save her own race is Melissa Jacobs, cute but unimpressive on cable as well as in various XXX assignments in England and America. Though running time is short, boredom factor is high.
