Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

I love Rex Smith, so I took a chance and ordered this movie because one person commented it was a chick flick and I like those. Anyway, the acting was so bad, I was embarrassed. I just looked up the date when Rick made "Sooner or Later" made in 1979 and it was terrific. 10 years later he made Ballerina, and it sounded as if it was the first acting job he did. It could have been the lead lady that made it worse that it was, but absolutely no real story that you could enjoy. When the cast credits started rolling I was surprised that it was over because it was so incomplete. If you want a real chick flick, order Sooner or Later, that is one that I watch over and over again. He is gorgeous in it, and the acting is really good along with the singing. I give that one 5 stars.
