Highly Overrated But Still Good
As Good As It Gets
Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
View MoreIt's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
View MoreI have been looking forward to this movie.Overall, I find the movie disappointing. There was no real depth to any of the characters. The story-line is thin and predictable. What kept me going was the excellent performances by Kwon Sang-woo and Cecilia Cheung (in a dual role...). If it were not for them... I would not have stayed with it...I had wanted to see this film ever since I heard about Kwon Sang woo going to make a movie in China. Frankly, I think he sold himself short. He is such a fine actor. He deserved to show his craft in a better film than this. Same goes for Cecilia Cheung..
