Boring

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

Here we go again...... bunch of asinine kids out for kicks and it all goes wrong... like the people who decided they'd make a movie called SHROOMS. They ought to have called it STOOLS because it stinks like (you know what). Of course, as is required for just about all crappy amateurish horror flicks, most of it has to be shot in almost-totally-black conditions, and with a distinct lack of acting or directorial ability. In this cinematic extravagance, a blue filter is used, too, most creative! Thank goodness this was one of a large bulk lot of DVDs I bought for a very low sum. No real money wasted, and I kept busy online while the flick was running, didn't need much attention at all. All in all, a lousy movie. On the plus side, it has subtitles.

Maybe I am too old but this was a movie that I don't think should have been made. Maybe someones love interest needed a show piece? First why the hell would you travel all the way to Ireland to trip on some mushrooms? There plenty available in the U.S. Tara takes what I guess would be called a death cap and survives. This gives her "the second sight" able to see some of the future. The only problem is everyone is still tripping on the shrooms. Since there are no black people in this movie the steroid using rage freak is the first to die. They start dieing off one by one. All this from a myth that is true. There seems to be four creatures involved. The only boy to survive the massacre in the boys school because he was with the guard dogs in the kennel (from the shot of his mouth when Holly dies, a cannibal), a sadistic pedophile "Brother" of the monastery that ran the school and two very inbred woods men(?). For some reason the police show up at the end and saves Tara. She is actually the killer of everyone. Possessed? Psycho from the shroom? I don't know but I will admit the ending was a little surprising to me.

after the tripping began i hated every second of this movie. why is that? let me start with the story. its a typical teenager in the wood getting high and murdered story, with all the clichés that follows. the idea this time is that they are tripping on mushrooms, with isn't that bad an idea, but oh boy they messed it up big time. basically the story makes no sense and i had a really hard time figuring out what was happening. all the quick shifting from one location to another, and reality too dream/trip makes you confused, you cant tell what is happening. the shots are also made really badly, and you really don't see that much to the monsters (this time monks), other then a few seconds each time they appear. most you see of them is somebody walking around in a robe. i think they didn't have too much money for the effects. in all the surreal and fast edited scenes i stumbled across something weird, that i would like to point out. the one dude was killed in an old car, by a monk giving him a blow job? the writers must have been tripping. seeing how little effort and heart there is put into this s**t, it hurt me watching the nordisk film (danish film studio) logo in the beginning. when they use their money on crap like this, i don't wonder why danish film industry is in crisis. i would also complain, that i had a really hard time understanding what they where saying, especially the one character with an Irish accent, and the two hillbillies talking Irish. its okay they talk Irish, but put at least some subtitles on. or else it ruins the movie for the not Irish talking audience (the majority of the world population). but i have at least one positive thing to say about it. the settings in the woods and the light, gives it a dark atmosphere. combined with the mushrooms, there is some potential, but sadly not this time. so to conclude, i will say 1/10, because it is one of the worst made movies i have ever seen. and i will recommend potential audience to stay away from it, because you don't get anything other than annoyed, when watching it, especially if you want to see a horror movie or get scared.

The movie itself wasn't all that bad but the plot was definitely confusing, even towards the end. It still leaves you with questions that never get answered. The overall plot could have been better and not so disappointing. The actors are definitely names you haven't heard of before but you can already see that they may not be getting acting roles anytime in the near future.Buying this movie would be a waste of money to me unless you want to add to a never ending collection just because. Seeing it on the other hand is not too bad of an idea if you are bored and have nothing better to do with your time.
