What a beautiful movie!

FirstWitch

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

by Scott E. - This is simply not a movie. How the maker could have convinced anyone in Hollywood to release this garbage is a total mystery. He must have had some dirt on someone. This is nothing more than a sick, twisted mans home videos of his bizarre relationship with a real life drugged out stripper. Add to that, plenty of shots of the girl doing her business in the restroom, vomiting and some fake ultra gore blood scenes that are not worthy of a Z movie from some 3rd world country. This thing simply has no redeeming value any way you look at it. IF you are a fan of incest, then the "directors" self read biography describes his creepy and sick relationship with his mentally off sister. IF you enjoy that, then I am truly worried about you. Skip this trash at all cost. Take a hammer to your DVD player rather than put this in to play. Write to the IRS and beg for an audit but DO NOT UNDER ANY CONDITIONS waste one second on this video sewage. It's not worth even 2 seconds of your time. Scrubbing toilets is like a Macy's parade compared to this garbage. AVOID at any cost.

I've seen many of the "most disturbing" films on everyone's lists (A Serbian Film, Audition, Salo, Cannibal Holocaust, August Underground, etc.) and I was expecting this to be a crappy, relentless gorefest with extra puke. Well, there was plenty of puking, but to me it was really more of an art film than a horror or gross-out flick -- which I understand will annoy a lot of people. Of course there is over-the-top gore too. But I thought the surrealistic techniques (lack of plot, sporadic dialogue, choppy editing, industrial/processed soundtrack, etc.) made for a really great viewing experience. Ameara LaVey did a great job in the lead, though I take it she wasn't really "acting," more just being herself. I loved the cutting in of vintage footage of the young Angela. And I thought the final bathtub scene was quite touching. I found this a lot closer to something like Begotten, or a low-budget gory David Lynch, than endurance tests like The Guinea Pig films.I think it's interesting to consider this film as a critique of pornography or the exploitation of women, but I didn't really read this film that way at all. I thought it worked perfectly well as an surrealistic interior portrait. I liked it a lot. 8/10.

After watching this film is truly that man asked himself what he saw, what he was watching and why these things are recorded. People know to appreciate movies that abound disgusting scenes if there is a meaning in all this, which is not the case with this film. This movie is a combination of idiocy, nonsense, bad effects and bad scenes hidden behind a screen of hard core. This is not a movie, this is tape with random scenes of nudity, violence and vomiting. No story, no plot, bad music, bad directing, this is what a movie should NOT be.He received a score of 2 on the effort and partly because it managed to shock. However, when everything is said and done, I suggest you skip this movie.

I'd to think I'm a decent film critic. I try to look at thing with an open mind and keep a clear vision what I believe a good film should be.I read a few reviews about Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and the general consensus is that it is a deliberate and pathetic attempt to shock audiences by its quantity of vomit and its editing techniques. Truth be told there is quite a bit of vomiting and if you are squeamish in anyway to regurgitation I advise you not to watch this film. If you suffer from epilepsy I advise you not to watch this film. In my opinion the general amount of people that watch this film cannot grasp the idea of why this film was edited in such a way; hence why they shun in so quick and easily. Slaughtered Vomit Dolls (SLV) is edited to show many various images and video over a small amount of time simulating the thoughts of a schizophrenic mind. I explain this more in a moment.SLV tells the short yet very sad tale of a woman who sells her to the Satan. As a young girl her innocence was taken when she was sexually abused by a church leader in her neighborhood. She swiftly carried out her revenge by burning down the church along with her neighborhood and she vanished and became a missing person and then later on became a stripper and a call-girl. As the story (if you can call it that) progresses you learn that the leading lady is plagued with the images, feelings, pain, and anguish that comes with being linked to Satan. She witnesses through dreams and hallucinations the acts of murder, torture, and extreme depravity that exist within sin. The film culminates with the leading lady taking her own life to get away from the evil inside her mind.Back onto the topic of the editing technique. Ever watch a film that has an insane asylum or a prison filled with "crazy" people and they write gibberish, symbols, other languages, or the same word over and over again on the walls or in a journal? This film depicts those actions in a visual manner. The hallucinations the leading lady sees are but a manifestation of the evil that she has surrendered to. The audio in SLV is almost 99% distorted, manipulated, reversed, or has the pitch lowered. This is annoying and can be down-right frustrating to sit though, but it conveys the experiences the leading lady is going though. This film contains nudity, simulated POV sexual situations, vomiting, blood, and gore throughout the entire film.I give SLV a 2/5. (for IMDb's 10 point scale SLV is a 4/10) It's a great idea for a film to see inside the mind of someone who sacrifices their soul to Satan, but Slaughtered Vomit Dolls in the end is only a mess of vomit and blood that leaves you with a headache and a case of vertigo.
