This is How Movies Should Be Made

it is the rare 'crazy' movie that actually has something to say.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This is an above average Lifetime thriller. The plot isn't dominated by a comical over the top psycho so it's actually more believable and involving. A college student who needs money decides to donate and egg and carry a baby for a couple. After the couple dies the mother of the son who is the biological grandmother helps her. But all isn't that upfront with the grandmother and her husband. The scenario is quite plausible so far.The actresses are quite alright. The ending ins't too exaggerated.Worth one watch.

Maureen and Charlie are two of the most disgusting characters you will ever come across. They are so evil it will make your stomach turn. You will want to punch these two through your screen. Killing poor Sara and Jameson by cutting the brake line, getting Bob arrested on trumped-up charges, then treating Valerie worse than crap. It is revolting. It is sad to say there are people like this in the real world. Fortunately, Valerie has people who are willing to go all out to ensure her safety, and more important, the safety of the baby she is carrying.

SORORITY SURROGATE blew my mind. I had all but given up on the typical woman in peril, made-for-TV movies, but watching this one has, for the time begin at least, restored my faith on how entertaining and compelling they can actually be. First of all, it has WAY more character development that any other Lifetime movie I've ever seen. The filmmakers really seemed to try and take it up a notch, as there was a super fun playfulness that's always missing from most TV films of this type. It was also so refreshing to watch a well written, young conflicted heroine take center stage, instead of the usual middle-aged housewife that's become so common. It has amazing twists and turns you do absolutely do NOT see coming at all, and just when you think it's going to zig, it suddenly ZAGS. I never thought I'd say this, but his film actually raises the bar on Lifetime movies. HIGHLY recommend!!!
