Season 1 is weak, but overall this show is some of the best Star Wars content period. Each season gets better and better until season 5 which had some incredible stories. Season 6 wasn't as good as 5, but it was still interesting.

Don't judge the show off of the 4 prequels. It has engaging stories and characters who you can get emotionally invested in. It redeems the prequels. Any Star Wars fan would enjoy it. The show's themes and tendency to go to dark places really help it.

This show is amazing I mean how could you not like it apart from some animation that felt a little weird at times and the episodes with ....... uh Jar Jar. This show is amazing at expanding the star wars universe. It gives character development to anakin and gave some characters passed over in the movies some time to shine including a couple fan favorites. Most episodes are apart of a 2-5 episode arc which are like mini movies. The entire series is on Netflix including the lost episodes of season 6 I would recommend watching the episode i n chronological order (The episode were released out of order) You can find the right order on starwars.com

I mean its like the author took time to pick out all the details left out in the main movie that fit in place with this animation series.he finds a way to let us see and understand what happened and led to some certain unforeseen events like the slowly turning of Anikin Skywalker to lord Vader which was clearly not covered in the movie. wow, Lucas film does it as he always has, cant find a way to appreciate that guy for all the imagination he has fed the world. i guess what viewers are anticipating mostly at this point is his next movie, the force awakens. I wonder if the Jedi will return or will this be an entirely new plot for the viewers. it would be nice to come with a fitting conclusion though I fear this isn't happening anytime sooner since its clear that this will be a trilogy set
