This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

This review does not contain any spoilers!! I really liked this movie! The director and writers did a good job. The way it was directed and the jokes they put in it come together as a whole and made me think of times when I was thinking of my own for a moment or two and missed what was in front of me. I guess it depends on what a person can pay attention to and what he/she has to keep in mind. It's filled with jokes and they're not stupid. I'm sad it has such a low rating on IMDb, it deserves better in my opinion. It has an old movie, classic feeling to it, maybe cuz it has Mr. Nielsen in it, but also cuz of the directing and the script.Idk about others, but I wouldn't mind of seeing it again and I wouldn't have minded seeing this film on TV say 10, 15 or even 20 years in the past; yes I know it's produced in 2011. Just saying it could have become a classic, a movie I'd watch and feel good about it and enjoy how we're all getting the wise cracks, family and friends. In fact the movie felt like catching up with an old buddy.

When I sat down to watch "Stonerville", I was expecting more of a drug-comedy because of the name, but this movie was actually nothing like what I had expected, it was far more boring. As a comedy, "Stonerville" surprisingly failed to make me laugh even once. I actually think it didn't even manage to make a smile. The jokes and punchlines in the movie were far from being fun, actually quite the opposite. Which just makes me wonder how far out on drugs did you have to be to enjoy this movie. The story was far from appealing, it never managed to fully connect with me on any level, and it was very jumpy, flashing to and fro on so many various topics, none of them really coming full circle at any time. So the end result was one big mashed up soup of story lines and plots.Something that does come to mind though, was just how did they manage to convince Leslie Nielsen and Pauly Shore to be a part of this movie? Sure, their roles were minute, but still, how did that come about."Stonerville" is not fun on any levels, and for a comedy it was surprisingly boring. I don't' recommend this movie to anyone, unless you are an avid fan of anyone in it. This movie was sort of a sad reminiscent of a washed out 1980's teenage comedy.Yawn!
