I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

In the battle of Austin and Seagal I have come to believe Austin is the better actor. The movie starts out improbable as a gang of men in masks, rob a grocery store, take hostages and issue demands. A grocery store? Now I know they get robbed, but by a gang who has to share the loot? SWAT team leader Austin ignores proper police protocol and raids the place, killing the thieves, injuring the hostages, and doing huge amounts of property damage. To their surprise they are not rewarded, but are forced to take SWAT team training again. Michael Jai White, a young Carl Weathers with a BB gun is part of the team. Lexa Doig is a third member. The upstairs of an abandoned(?) warehouse is set up with paper "bad guys" for the SWAT team to practice with simulation rounds. As fate would have it, two rival gangs are in the downstairs of the warehouse wanting "a case" which was stolen from them. One of the rival gangs learned to speak with bad Russian accents. I was waiting for one of them to say, "What about moose and squirrel."The dialouge was mildly humorous at times, a step up from Austin's other movies. The plot left much to be desired. There were no real plot twists except at the very end...and then it didn't make much sense. If you like Steve Austin movies, I think this was one of his better ones.F-bomb, no sex. no nudity, no moose or squirrel.

I like action films. I like smart ones like Heat but I also enjoy brainless action films like Con Air. This film, at its very best, could never have been a Con Air. The concept is too thin, the stakes too low, the writing too weak. That being said, it might have been a forgettable 6 out of 10. Instead, Adamo Paolo Cultraro manages to take a weak concept and reduce it into such a lousy, awful, painful piece of crap that I would give anything for my time back. The photography sucks. The camera angels suck. The lighting sucks. Every line is delivered flat. The acting is really, really awful. Every artistic and technical choice that can be made on a film is made as wrong as can be.I accidentally saw Adamo Cultraro's other film. I didn't realize it was his. He has shown some growth from his first film; budget growth. He hasn't shown any artistic growth. He is the kind of talentless SoCal idiot who jiggles a camera and thinks he's making The Third Man. The rest of his talentless crew would have more dignity if they'd worked on a soft-core porn shoot.Steve Austin why do you make such awful films? You have enough clout to surround yourself with better than this! This is so awful it makes 1980's action films by Van Damme look brilliant by comparison!Your time would be better spent scrubbing that stain in the guest bedroom.

NOTICE: If you are looking for a high budget tactical operations movie with hundreds of crew, do not watch this movie, instead go try some Denzel Washington movie. But notice that this movie's budget is not somewhere near what Denzel is paid for a movie. I do not even mention if you are looking for a Goldener Bär or Academy Award Nominate. This movie itself DOES NOT aim such a thing. The movie is actually a short story of 4 careless officer (3 guys + 1 woman) who love more action and less thinking. Most of us are used to watching action movies in which there are clever S.W.A.T. officers who always put the hostages' (even criminal's) safety as priority during their operations. But heroes of this movie are exact of opposite of this model. I mean they are looking for more action even they lose a team member. This intent behind the hard-look of those policemen gives the viewers an absurd feeling, and I must say I liked it.I do not want to go too deep about the technical aspects but I can say that the acting is O.K. (Especially M. Jai White's acting and Lexa Doig's beauty worth mentioning) Musics and sound effects fit the action. Dialogues are usually silly (But again usual for this kind of action), similarly storyline is predictable, but that does not really disturbs while following.Well, I'd like to say this movie is worth watching if you like non-stop action, and if you are not looking for real art. 5.5/10

I did think at the start it was a bit silly but after that it got better. The acting was OK and the action scenes were good. the Russian woman wasn't that hot. she was a bit old looking. they could have had someone a bit younger.I wouldn't watch it again but i would recommend it.It was an interesting story but the thing that annoys me is what was in the case????I kept telling myself that i would find out eventually what was in that case but no they decided to make a film about an item in a suitcase that everyone wanted but not tell us what that was !!!!!
