It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
View MoreA terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
View MoreThere are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
View MoreThe tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
View MoreTALES OF THE SUPERNATURAL is a cheap and rubbishy British horror anthology indie without a single redeeming feature, unless you count a slumming-it Bruce Payne's opening cameo as a high point of the production. There are six stories featured here, linked by the usual poorly-written nonsense, and all of them are quite terrible. One is about possession, another about a haunted house, a third the usual BLAIR WITCH copy, but it's all very cheap and not at all cheerful. In fact, the film's a dog, and I just find it a shame that a film crew went out and wasted so much time and energy shooting it.
