Good concept, poorly executed.

Expected more

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

A great understanding of how the first timer would see this crazy county and the effects their mind. The story starts weeks before the Thailand parts which is great because you really do get the chance to understand the characters wit in the film. The film shows the before and after the visit and what the changes maybe. The shots are real life fly on the wall docco style no fake stuff or set up in anyway. I would recommend this film to watch as it's one of a kind and never done before. The relationship between the cameraman and subject help the film give it emotion as they both battle with their quest to build a life and make a film.
