Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de)

This is a short film made by Pirelli almost 10 years ago. I guess they were impressed by the popularity these Clive Owen BMW short films gained, so they decided to give it a go as well and explore the genre of film. Unfortunately, the outcome is disappointing. This one here runs for 8 minutes (without credits) and stars Oscar nominee John Malkovich as a priest. I like Malkovich a lot, so this was a good premise. However, the complete lack of story here destroyed any ambition this film could have had. The inclusion of Naomi Campbell says it all. She may be a superstar, back then even more than today, but she is not a talented actress. The director is the one from "Training Day", a film I liked as well, which makes this failure here even more disappointing. Maybe the reason is the complete lack of experience from the writing duo or the fact that Pirelli just stuffed the film with Italian supporting actors in insignificant roles. Oh yeah, talking about Italians, Mauro Fiore, the Academy Award winning cinematographer from "Avatar" worked on this one here too. But he cannot elevate the very weak material either. Not a good watch. Stay away.
