Dreadfully Boring
A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
View MoreThe first must-see film of the year.
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
View MoreA small time politician is running for public office with strong support from his daughter and her mid twenties friends. The mayoral race is close and the challenger is haunted with recurring accounts of an incident during his time as the fire chief. The character development for this indie film is well done with different story arcs in play. The script is snappy and plausible with noticeable use of "F" words in expected pointed situations. The cinematography is consistent except for a couple of too close, close-ups in news casts. Graphic violence in a couple of spots fit well with plot twists and are difficult to anticipate. The story arc keeps the viewer engaged. There are a couple of continuity flaws but not too distracting.
