Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
View MoreThe best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
View MoreThis has to be the worst film I have ever watched. I couldn't follow the plot, got to 35minutes (where it goes "The beginning" and starts in 1988) but just couldn't watch anymore as it threw me off the story all together. The scene where the guy with no thumbs appears could have been improved so much, it was short and frankly boring...The cover was the only reason I wanted to see the film, it looks epic! Shame the film itself couldn't be the same or even close. The acting is just rubbish too, no emotion at all, everyone is like zombies and if I wanted to see a film full of zombies I would watch Zombieland.DON'T WATCH, Save yourself a few hours...
View MoreThis was supposed to be an action flick? My view of it is ... without interest, vigor, or determination; listless; lethargic.... The dialog might have kept the movie interesting except the acting was shockingly dreadful; horrible, appalling, and frightful. 15 minutes into it I was thinking "this has got to get better" 10minutes later "it's not getting any better, I can act better than these people" 10min later, I had to walk away. I tried listening to it from the other room as I was getting something to drink, thinking to myself "I really shouldn't watch the rest of this, the plot doesn't even matter anymore". Then the Arabic guy with no thumbs shows up and I HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS..... oh, no, wow. I actually said wow, out loud. My only question for this was how much did they spend on the budget? Then, people paid to watch this in a theater? I'm sure 90% got their money back.
View MoreThe Korean is a movie that requires attention to what is said, action of characters and above all focus. If you have an attention spam of a gnat, don't watch this movie. If you are person who enjoys reading mysteries or fiction books then you will find the Korean interesting. If you are a person who likes things in black and white, clear cut no room for gray areas then Korean is not for you. The use of going back into time is a good tool to explain "nothing is what is seems." There is one scene where the plot seems to drag a little and you wonder if the Director could have shot the scene different. However overall, a good movie, one that on a lazy Sunday or Saturday, watch and enjoy.
View MoreThe Korean is incomprehensible. And it isn't because it's in a foreign language, unless scrambled is a new tongue. Out of sequence scenes, twists and quick editing might be all the rage for Indy movies. But at some point it has to make sense or be of some interest. Both would be nice, either would help. The Korean doesn't make sense and isn't of interest. A film can often challenge a viewer with trying to figure out what is happening, but it is the film maker's responsibility to provide the viewer with a reason to care. I got none of the above. The acting is flat and emotionless. Did it receive awards? I find that hard to believe. Are film festivals just run by the businesses themselves? How can something this unwatchable be getting rave reviews?Avoid this movie.
